I pushed mom away from the computer so I can introduce myself. I am Flicka's Flirtatious Snowflake but my friends all call me Flirt. I'm a tiny but powerful little blue merle girl. I have a curly coat like Curly Sue and even my eyelashes are curly. I have two brown eyes, my sister Bz has one blue and one brown eye. I think that is cool!
My brother Dune has his very own blog now and I am sure Arthur will get one together soon as well - I'll just share my mom's blog from time to time.
Anywho - here are some pics of me today in the snow! It's hard work keeping the gang in line but someone has to do it!
Jollyballs are the best!
Love,
Flirt

I need your help!
Two of our kiddos are impossible to photograph! I solicited Craig's help to get Beacon to look at the camera and to try and get Drake's ears up. These are the results -
Beacon 1
Beacon 2
Beacon 3
Drake 1
Drake 2
Drake is a little "special" and cringes so much when he sees the camera, poor boy!
Please let me know which Beacon pic to use and which Drake pic to use for our 2008 Holiday Card - Many Thanks!!

Now She's Curly Sue
OK, I tried out the Venus name - but in my old addle-brained age I couldn't remember the name! So she told me her name - she said "I am Curly Sue, you can call me Suzie or Sue-Sue, or Curly Sue, I like them all" - so that is her name:)
Curly Sue was spayed today. She is not happy.
Even with a bandana on she is not happy
But she is Curly:)

New Foster Girl and Fall Fun!
November 1?? Where did the year go!
A new foster girl arrived yesterday - her name is Venus because when I arrived home there was a beautiful crescent moon with the brightly lit Venus above it -
Venus was very timid and frightened at first:(
Then we went outside to explore and play
Oops - better find my own toy!
Got one!
Good Brakes!
Some nice shots of "Air Bodie" today - hey, he is Air Arthur's Cousin!
Dog or scared Halloween cat??

Speaking of cute...
Sheep Shearing
Today we had our six wool sheep sheared. Valentine who was born last year on Valentine's Day in the wicked snow storm is still a little way off from having her lamb. Erin Go Baaaa who was born last St. Patrick's Day in a wicked snow storm is getting close! Everyone else lambed in March when the weather wasn't too bad. I wonder if this means we have some wicked snow storms still coming this way - LOL! Here are some pics from today's shearing!
I wonder how long sheep shearers' backs last - I was totally impressed!!

More pics!
April Day!
What a gorgeous day! I should be cleaning but...
too nice - I hop in the rowboat and take some pictures - here's my foster boy Gus
and Flirt
and Gus again
and Captain Pete
and Blue Dogs
and a Yellow Dog
and here's the intruder that drove us all back inside - yikes!
and inside we found Emily all cozied up inside of Flirt's crate. Funny how dogs who have never been crated just love these cozy little nests!
and Gus got all "gussied up" today - he was full of some nasty mats, behind his ears, on his fanny, and even his underbelly and armpits. I had Craig hold him for the tender parts! He was a very good boy!
Isn't he sweet?
