Meet Ramsey!

Hiya hiya hiya hiya! My name is Ramsey - I came to live at Sugar Bush Farm today! Yup, I'm stayin', not a foster dog!

Here are some pics of me and my momma. I love her, she played cool tug games with me!

There is a pond! I had a drink - mmmmmmm - spring water!


I kind of accidentally went for a swim! New Momma told me I should have picked a cleaner part of the pond!

But look! I did stay clean:)

Had to shake the water off!

Then had to snuggle on new momma's lap - she said it was hard to get this pic - her arm wasn't quite long enough or somethin' like that!

Oh, and I AM a MASTER POSER! My new momma was warned about this! Enjoy!




OH, one more thing new momma says "HEY Ramsey, you are a GOLDEN, not a BORDER COLLIE, no crouching!

President's Day Vacation

Yesterday I drove east to mom's and took her up to Maine for a shopping and lunch trip.


Also found this crazy Frankie the Fish from the McDonald's commercial for Tristan!

Valentine's Day Surprise!

Hey! Remember I posted some pics of the sheep with their new babies the other day?
This is our "border collie sheep" because she is marked very much like our BCs, including the white collar around her neck.



Well, anyhow, she had the one little white sheep on February 4th and today, 10 days later...


she gave us two more adorable black babies! Craig went to check on the sheep and was a bit worried as she had been doing so well, but she was down and not interested in the feed. A moment later out popped the lambs and then she was up and ready to eat again:)

I know spring is coming....

Because the lambs are here! More arriving every day too!

Jack - Delightful Young Boy!

Hiya, I'm Jack! Jumpin' Jack, Just Jack, Jack Flash, whatever you choose to call me I'm there!



I've been in rescue for 2 weeks now so I'm available as soon as foster mom writes my bio!

I was neutered and I had my funky rear dew claws removed - see my bandages!



I'm shy at first but I warm up pretty quickly as long as people just kind of pretend I'm not there! Here I am at an agility class!

New Arrivals

Yesterday we got some new kiddos here at the farm. HSUS broke up an alleged puppy miller in Portland, TN. 107 border collies and 1 beagle were freed. About 55 were relinquished to rescues. New England Border Collie Rescue, Inc. www.nebcr.org now has 7 new dogs. They will require lots of TLC and rehab, spays, neuters, and medical care for their lice, secondary infections, and we won't know about heartworm, etc., until next week. Their names may change as they go to their "real" foster homes - Sugar Bush Farm is their half-way house until they are cleared medically and emotionally to move.
